Twenty-Four plus years as a spiritual counselor and psychic has introduced me to many different types of spiritual beliefs and Spiritually Transformative Experiences. My clients have taught me to be a compassionate and open-minded listener. Having had multiple STEs myself, being married to a man who has had multiple NDEs, and co-leading an IANDS group has brought me a deeper understanding of the difficulties and the joys your STE has dealt you. As an author of Soul Soothers, a meditation book for those who struggle with meditation and co-author of Voyage of Purpose about my husband's NDE and Grow Your Spiritual Business, I have both spiritual and practical insights to many of life's challenges. My Bachelors of Science degree from SUNY Empire State combined religion, psychology and mythology. I attended a four-year healing school as well as a three-year metaphysical training program. My Masters from SUNY Empire State concentrated on mysticism, consciousness development, and cultural anthropology. Its focus was on finding the mystic’s non religious-specific journey to spiritual maturity. In my practice, I use the mystics’ formula, spiritual teachings, my intuition if appropriate, and your own insights to assist you in moving forward on your own spiritual journey.

Born into a Presbyterian family, I began my religious life at 5 asking "If Jesus was Jewish, why don't Jewish people believe in Jesus?" I was told to not ask questions. I was an atheist for the next 20+ years. I just couldn't accept that people didn't stand up for their own. In my late 20's I discovered a deck of Tarot Cards and started to "play." Soon I realized that the advice and insight I got was smarter than I was and must be coming from some place "higher." Still not understanding what that higher was, I began an intense exploration including a 3 year metaphysical teacher training class, studying Theosophy, Joseph Campbell, Comparative religion, 4 year healing school along with psychic and spiritual training. 25+ years later, and two degrees focused on religion, mysticism, psychology, and cultural anthropology, I teach spiritual and psychic development in both the USA and Japan. I have an eclectic belief that has lead me to search for a non religious specific approach to life while respecting all religious and spiritual paths including that of atheism.

Creating a safe and accepting space in which you can open up and explore the issues you wish to address is my main goal. Within that safety, you will discover what you need and together we will work to explore how your needs are best met. I allow you to your explore your goals through active listening. I believe you have all you need within you to achieve any goal you wish and I am simply the facilitator to assist you to discover that inner wisdom. I combine coaching skills with my intuition, if appropriate, to help you navigate the issues you bring to our sessions. My sessions are not weekly therapy sessions; I work with clients for a limited time. We decide on together how many sessions and reassess as needed. My goal is to empower you to not need my assistance as together we explore tools for healthy living that you can use on a daily basis as you create the desired change in your life.

I have had multiple STEs during my life. The most life changing was an angel telling me “You are strong enough, the time is now,” while literally raising my head so I would listen. I figured if an angel was going to go to all that trouble, I had better listen. That day changed my life. I have also spent the last 15 + years with my husband who has had multiple NDEs. Living with an NDEr has brought me clear perspective of the challenges. Together we facilitated a local IANDS group in Upstate NY where we had many NDErs and STE researchers stay at our home or spend hours over coffee talking about the challenges and rewards of the STEs. In my psychic counseling business I have had the joy to share many STEs with clients who knew it was real but felt they couldn’t tell anyone else. I feel I benefit along with the person sharing. I am blessed every time someone is willing to share with me their experience.
