Life can be confusing and sometimes distressing, but there can also be great joy and profound peace and love. Whatever you are dealing with right now, it is important for you to know that you are not alone, and there are ways to make things better. There are those who can help, who will listen to you, and respect and believe your experiences. After 23 years of working with clients of all ages, my great desire is to help others access and use their inner wisdom to bring greater peace and happiness to their lives. I use all of the skills and knowledge I have acquired in my years of working with people. I consider my greatest tools to be respectful listening, and the ability to ask the right questions to help you find the best answers for you. I will offer information from many sources if I feel it will be helpful.
One extremely helpful technique I have found is called EMDR. I am a trained practitioner, and have seen amazing results in the 10 years I have been using it. It is essentially a technique to help individuals access that inner wise part of themselves to rethink and to resolve any issue, past or present, that may be troubling them.
I have had a lifelong interest in things of the spirit. I grew up in a spiritual home, and feel grateful for the foundation of values instilled in me by my family and my church. In my 20’s I began reading and thinking extensively on matters of spirituality. I came to believe that we are much more than this body living on this earth. Throughout my life, I have continued reading, exploring and meditating, and consider spirituality the most important aspect of my life. I now think of myself as independently spiritual, as I believe the best answers come from Spirit through me. I believe that we are all connected with each other and with All That Is, and the more we can tune in to that connection, the better all of our lives will be.
My philosophy is based on spirituality and holism. I believe that we are spiritual beings here to learn and to love. I value each person’s individuality and truth. My focus is:
* to listen to any experience or situation you wish to discuss,
* to help you explore any positive or negative aspects of any experience,
* to address how any experience may be causing problems in your current life
* to aid you in learning to listen to your Spirit and your inner wisdom, and
* to find solutions that feel right to you, and that make your life what you want it to be.
