In addition to being a licensed clinical psychologist, addiction and trauma specialist, and empowerment coach, I am also a psychic and medium. I have a capacity to communicate with the spirit world, and I facilitate clients with the same. So many people who come to me with mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, psychosis, addiction – are in fact acutely aware and don't have the tools to cope with what they can perceive. I use tools from a variety of traditional and alternative modalities, including Access Consciousness® and Talk to the Entities™, to empower people to know what they know, and have greater ease with their capacities in these areas.
I also have experience and training with other STEs, including psychedelic experiences, NDEs, shamanic journeying, spiritual awakenings, spiritual emergencies, past life trauma, and more. I love to assist people in exploring, processing, and integrating these experiences to help them overcome their struggles, release their perceived limitations, and to create a life of infinite possibilities.
From the time I was a child, I could sense energies that I couldn't explain; things I couldn't see or describe. These things sometimes terrified me but I didn't have anyone to talk to about them. When my father died when I was 15, I knew he was still around me, and it was then that I began a lifelong spiritual journey to understand the inexplicable and ineffable experiences in life.
A mysterious chronic and debilitating illness (much later identified to be Lyme Disease and chronic fatigue syndrome) and almost 20 years of struggle, including a very dark night of the soul, set me on a path to exploring alternative therapies. I now know that experience to have been my own calling; a healing crisis I had to overcome to step into my power and gift for healing.
Attending grad school at ITP (Institute of Transpersonal Psychology) gave me a strong foundation and lots of experience not only with traditional psychological approaches, but also with spirituality and healing from a variety of cultures and other perspectives. It motivated me and helped me to realize that I could also explore these issues with my therapy clients. The tools of Energy Psychology and Access Consciousness further expanded my abilities to help others who have struggled with some of the same challenges that I did. You don't need to suffer alone with your experiences; there are many of us available to assist.
I tend to see things through the lens of strengths and capacities, rather than pathologies. What if your "wrongness" is actually a strongness? While I believe that Western medicine and psychiatry (including medication) can play an important role when necessary, I am much more interested in looking at alternative, more holistic approaches (including cross-cultural traditions) to mental health. I have a podcast called Kaleidoscope of Possibilities–Alternative Perspectives on Mental Health, where I explore these topics in depth. I believe that any issue needs to be addressed from the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual perspectives and I do that with my clients.
What can I contribute to you in discovering your gifts?
