Carl Jung might have said he never metaphor he didn’t like. Language is full of metaphors which express one instinct in terms of another. A therapist’s job is to validate and help the client integrate the metaphorical material expressed in their spiritual experiences. This talk will take spirituality out of the realm of theory and put it into practice by building skills for mental health professionals to incorporate this new spiritual source of knowledge into the client’s present life.
