Therapist/Experiencer’s journey through multiple Spiritually Transformative Experiences (STEs) and Insights for Therapy

Abstract

The presentation will cover my personal spiritual journey through multiple Out of Body Experiences (OBEs), After Death Communication (ADCs), and Precognitive Dreams.

This is a story of my personal search for truth that lead me through grief and loss, direct face to face spiritual encounters with deceased loved ones, journeys into the afterlife, dreams of the future, and supporting those who have had STEs.

Objective: At the end of this presentation, participants will be able to identify:

1. commonly reported aspects of the Out of Body Experience (OBE).
2. the concept of Veridical Evidence and how it applies to STEs.
3. multiple types After Death Communication (ADC) experiences.
4. the idea and experience of Precognitive Dreams.
5. insights from the multiple STEs and brief case studies that can be valuable in one’s own personal integration as well as supporting others who have had spiritual experiences.

Presenter Bio



Shaye is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Atlanta, GA who has a graduate education and focus in Transpersonal Psychology from the University of West Georgia. He has had multiple Spiritually Transformative Experiences (STEs) and specializes in providing individual and group counseling for clients with mystical, unitive, and transpersonal experiences. Shaye’s mission is to help clients heal, grow and transform through the healthy integration of their STEs. He is also a Reviewer for the Journal of Exceptional Experiences and Psychology.
