ACISTE is planning its first retreat for people who have had spiritually transformative experiencers (STErs) and for those who love them!

It will be held on the beautiful island of Maui some time in 2024. 

Before details are announced, the planning team would like to gather input from potential attendees on what they desire in terms of programming, venue and cost.

Krista Gorman

Krista’s personal journey of inner exploration took off after her death and rebirth in 2000.  The transformation within her was overwhelming, leading her on a decades-long quest to discover a way to integrate back into her earthly life as her new “self.” Her reason for being is to walk the talk of healing and hope and share Love with the world. She is a western medicine practitioner and lives on Maui with her husband, Ainsley.

Sharon Lund

Sharon Lund has had two profound near-death experiences. Her first one was in 1984, and she received her life purpose. In her second NDE, she saw a review of her life and so much more. She was given a choice to remain in the Light of the Infinite Spirit or return to her daughter. Even though Sharon felt healed and the immense love, she chose to return to her daughter.

Yolaine Stout

Yolaine is the founding director and President of ACISTE and past President of IANDS.   Following her NDE, due to a suicide attempt in 1982, Yolaine ultimately found her purpose in supporting other experiencers and people in spiritual depression.  She was also inspired by her NDE to write about human creativity and potential.   This first retreat represents a key goal following years of research, education and training of professionals, development of peer support programs and other training programs that she envisioned.
